David Bauman, Esq.

Junior Partner

David Bauman has fought on behalf of his clients and against pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers for nearly twenty years.  During his career he has represented thousands of clients injured by defective pharmaceutical and medical device products.

Mr. Bauman graduated with a B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University and with a J.D. from Washington University School of Law.  From his first day of practicing law, Mr. Bauman represented victims of the pharmaceutical industry.  During his first five years he primarily represented victims of the diet medication combination fen-phen.  This representation took him all around the country to meet with clients and defend hundreds of depositions.  During this time Mr. Bauman discovered the satisfaction of representing people who were injured through no fault of their own.  This early experience taught Mr. Bauman to value his clients and his relationship with them.

Since the fen-phen case, Mr. Bauman has represented thousands of other drug and medical device clients in the Baycol, Serzone, Vioxx, Levaquin, Avandia, Actos, Invokana, Hip Replacement, Yaz, Pradaxa, Testosterone and IVC filter litigations.  He has conducted and defended thousands of depositions, including taking and defending hundreds of expert depositions.  He has briefed and argued motions throughout the country.  Mr. Bauman has also taken pharmaceutical cases to trial and gained substantial verdicts and settlements for his clients.

Work and Life

In addition to representing his individual clients Mr. Bauman has performed work for several leadership committees in various pharmaceutical cases.  Through this work Mr. Bauman assisted in coordinating and advancing the general liability case against the pharmaceutical manufacturers on behalf of all of the injured plaintiffs in the case.  Mr. Bauman has also represented defrauded consumers in several class action lawsuits.

When he is not advocating on behalf of his clients Mr. Bauman enjoys spending time with his four children and his wife.
