Hannah Peterson graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Eckerd College, where she was also a member of the women’s soccer team. Hannah went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate as a Tech Law Fellow from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. At Arizona Law, Hannah was a member of Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law, where she wrote her Note titled “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death? A Comparative Analysis of Public Health Responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Their Efficacy, and Their Legal Implications.” The Note was chosen for publication in the Journal and awarded “Best Note.” Hannah also received a CALI award for her studies in Conflicts of Law.
In law school, Hannah gained advocacy experience in the Veterans Advocacy Law Clinic where she worked with local veterans to represent them with civil and criminal matters in Veteran’s Treatment Court. In the clinic, Hannah also assisted with upgrading discharge statuses for veterans who had previously been denied healthcare and other benefits from the VA.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys playing soccer as well as hiking, camping, and running with her partner and their three dogs.
